Has anyone used the following drum set, if so is it any good, I know it's not the best out there, just based on the cost, but do you get your moneys worth out of it?

I agree with the other answer, go with the Alesis. For one, the DM5 brain has some pretty decent sounds with 12 trigger inputs so you can expand. The pads don't look like much but, if you are just starting out they should be fine. You can always replaced the Alesis pads with better ones later as the DM5 is pretty universal. PS I paid 350.00 for a DM5 alone 4 years ago so it's a good deal.
