can you play Rock Band 2 with no kick pedal?
i want to know if you can play rock band 2 without the kick pedal thing without failing a song. it's so hard with it, and don't even say i played the store demo, because i didn't. all i want to know if you can or you can't like detach it or something. and maybe you can tell me if i do detach it, will it like not detect it so the orange bars won't show up.
No, there isn't a way to play without the pedal. On most of Easy and probably a lot of Medium, you could probably pass most of the songs by not using it, but you'd get lousy scores.
Not using the kick pedal defeats the challenge of drumming anyways. Developing limb independence takes a lot of practice. I had never used a Drum Set before I started playing Rock Band, but now I can beat all of the songs on hard and around half on expert. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to do all of them, but I'm not about to cheat to do it.
