How can i make my school uniform different?
I am a Junior at a catholic high school, and i have had the same uniform since i can remember, and i really want to stick to the rules, but still stand out a bit.
we have to wear either a kakhi or navy blue skirt that goes down to our fingers
we have to wear a polo of any color from lands end or a light blue, white, or french blue oxford from lands end
nylons, tights, knee socks or regular socks at all time, solid colors only
no shoes with rubber bottoms, no boots, clogs or similar shoes.
does anyone have any ideas as to what i can do to at least not blend in so much?

The characters on Gossip Girl do bend
the rules a lot when it comes to uniforms,
but they usually do it with more expensive
accessories.
I would wear the khaki skirt and the white
polo so I could play with brighter colors for
everything else.
I'd wear colored tights from JCrew... or wherever
they sell colored tights... in a color like blue or dark
gray. I'd carry a big, bright beach bag, and wear
a bright colored pea coat in a color like light pink
or green.
As for shoes, I'd just wear the cute oxfords, but maybe
get them re-dyed to white. Volumize your hair! Big curls!
Tease the crown! Headbands! Hairspray! Wear lots of jewellery if you're allowed.
Wear cinch belts, and read VOGUE and TeenVogue.
