Fill Your Bellies And Ears With Food And Music In Mardi Gras
New Orleans has made Mardi Gras a family friendly party that draws a ridiculous number of visitors to the city, a gathering which flaunts its resilience in the face of an economic downturn and natural disasters.
A few people are particularly suspicious about this untamed and drunken spring party, linking it to depravation, nudity and French quarter blunders. However, this southern celebration boasts as much exhibitions of enjoyment, as it does debauchery.

Street food and cooking are also part of the displays and festivities of Mardi Gras. Most of the public places one can imagine are transformed into open cooking areas and alfresco decks by families, holding pre parade festivities, and socializing with other locals. Drinks and cocktails, grilled food, hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, cold salads, fried chicken and sweet treats happen to be typical dinning features.
