How to add a third tom to my drumset?
I have a standard five Piece Kit. (snare, Bass Drum, two tomtoms, and a Floor Tom) and a ride, crash/ride, crash, and hi-Hat Cymbals. I am looking into adding a third tomtom to my set, but can anyone tell me how to add it to the set (hardware and such)? And is there anything else i should look into getting instead?
If Your Drum has a big hole in the side surrounded by tightening hardware, then get a multiclamp and a Tom Mount (looks like a short bar, then an axis, then another short bar). If you don't have that big hole in the side, then you'll need to get an L - Rod Tom Holder and a Mounting Hoop, or just a Tom Stand.
