how to Make Your room pitch black to watch a 114" projection screen?
I want to get a 114" Projection screen but the problem is it says you have to make it pitch black and i have a room right in front of our house where the sun shines in all day long. How do i block out the sunlight?
Window stores cal it the "black-out" cloth material or canvas. Your choice of color (of course dark color). Have it made as a roll-up shade for ease of use. Attached 2 " aluminum channels on both sides not only as guides but to be sure no light could enter the room. My dedicated HT room has a 110" wide screen screen and my dlp video grade projector is only capable of "400" lumens however it's not "pitch black" and the video is film-like quality. I bet yours is at least 1000 lumens so a little light will not be a problem.
