question about what to get for Drum Set?
i might be getting something to add to my drum set but i am not sure whether to choose cymbals or a 4th tom. i currently have 2 crashes, a ride, 2 rack toms and 1 Floor Tom. should i get one more Rack Tom or get 2 more crashes and a splash cymbal?
the answer to your question is whatever you prefer! personally, i prefer to upgrade my cymbals. i have 3 toms, and that is plenty for my style of playing. if you utilize you 3 toms and constantly finding yourself wishing you had a 4th, def pick one up. but they're obvisouly more expensive to buy a single tom. i usually only play with 2 toms, so obviously a 4th woul dbe a waste of money for me.
but if you decide to go with some new cymbals, go with some quality ones. and maybe vary it up a bit, get a china, or maybe even a crash/ride.
