If we put banana in a plastic bag, then it will not become black soon. Is it correct?
If we put banana in a plastic bag, then it will not become black soon. Is it correct? If not, is there any other good way that I could keep banana fresh (yellow)? Thanks!
actually probably what you don't want to do.
Bananas release ethylene gas that cause them to ripen and things around them to ripen. if you put i tin a plastic bag, it would be like the planets atmosphere. It would trap the bananas gas, and cause it to ripen more releasing more gas, etc. That's why you can put hard plums, peaches, nectarienes, avacados, etc. into bags with bananas. They casue the hard fruit to ripen quicker.
But i would recommened putting it in the fridge.
