Know any good Steel Pan songs/bands?
I've decided that a Steel Pan (aka Steel Drum) is one of the most underrated instruments out there. It needs to be used more often.
Does anyone know any bands that use a lot of steel pan? Or any songs in specific?
I'm talking about the instrument that is in "Under the Sea" in the little mermaid or in the country song "Then What" by clay walker.
Neither of these are songs I particularly like, so I'm looking for better songs...preferrably something thats more reggae style.
Oh, and I think Kokomo by the beach boys also has this instrument
I just sampled a little bit of both Andy Narell and the Carribean Jazz Project, I really like his sound. The only thing is-I was hoping for some lyrics too.

Check out Andy Narell - he is probably the best steel pan player today. He has a band called Carribean Jazz Project.
