i need some advice on Drum Sets?
I have a really crappy set, and an Okay descent want. I want to get a really good one and have a few questions. which is the best for playing metal.
1.) What drum brand is the best? I've heard that Pearl is the best way to go
2.) Maple or Birch or other types(which is the best)?
3.) Zildjian is the best for cymbals, correct?
4.) I also want a hi at that has an extra Foot Pedal and when you stomp that one it changes the hi-at to a closed hi-at, making double bass a whole lot easier, what kind of hi-at is that called?
5.) I've also looked into buying two bass drums for double bass instead of just one. Want kind of (single)pedals should i get for both?
6.) What kind of Snare Drum is the best? I use Steel right now.
A problem i have is that My crash, ride, and china cymbals are always too loud and cancel out the rest of my drumset. Any tips?

play softer on the cymbals or louder on the restof the set.
