How do you export pages from one Word Document into another?
I have one very long Word Document that lists a series of tasks that needs to be done for different circumstances. It is divided up into sections (with headings corresponding). I want to be able to create documents and export specific pages (with headings) into another document so I can show the procedures on a specific task without having to send the entire file. Is there an easy way to do this? When I try to do a simple cut and paste the formatting goes crazy and it changes all the headers.
Try hyper linking. I also have a huge document with a choice of which section you wish to see. The choice is a simple hyperlink to that section in the document. In your case a hyperlink to the page headings mike be a good place.
