Zildjian Custom cymbals help?
I cant decide between the zildjian A customs, zildjian K custom hybrids, or the zildjian K custom darks. I play heavy metal, power metal, progressive metal, thrash metal, all types of death metal, and Black Metal. If you know any any other good cymbals that suit the genres listed above then please mention them in your answer. Make sure the cymbals are very durable and dont break or have cracks from the first hit. Any helpful answers are much appreciated and may get best answers
I heard about the new zildjian Z3 series and they look really beautiful. Could the Z3s be good for heavy metal, power metal, progressive metal, thrash metal, all types of death metal, and black metal?
oh my god dude. k customs are the best, i mean they're amazing! machine made over Hand Made? hell nahhhh! get those hand made k cymbals dude, you won't regret getting k cymbals. they are a bit pricey but im telling ya, they are worth it. but remember that with hand made cymbals, not all of them sound exactly the same. i've stood in front of 2 different k fast crashes before and they sounded slightly different. i have a K 22 inch ride and its the most amazing sound i have ever heard, its the kind of cymbal you can play with any genre of music. and also about those Z3's. don't judge a book by its cover. i've seen people go into stores and say "hey this looks like a good Cymbal Pack" and then i say "ya and have ya played it before?" ha ha but really play the cymbals before you buy them. and no i have Never Played Z3's before so i wouldn't know. but i should try it. good luck
