Red Hot Chili Peppers - drum songs for a beginner?
Can anyone suggest any RHCP songs that are easy-medium to learn on drums? (please don't say Porcelain 
) They are my fav band and I'm just about to start learning drums so wanted some ideas.

Hmmm... Well ive been playing for 2 years now and i would say "Snow (Hey oh)" is relatively easy on the drums. Dont jump in at the deep end and try every fill, maybe leave out all fills to start and then progress from there... The song get complicated-ish at the chorus, but just listen it through, maybe go on youtube to find a cover?

Just because a certain drummer plays a song a certain way, doesnt mean you have to, play it your way and it will be alot more fun!

This guy does over complicate it slightly, yet the main principle is there, he is out of time slightly, but oh well!
You only need one bass firt time round, 2 the next... He puts an off beat bass in there... so just ignore that!
